Distillery Tours

Learning all about the processes and history of whisky making on one of our Distillery Tours at Lindores Abbey Distillery. Find out what goes into producing whisky, and once you’ve learned the ins and outs of distilling, you’ll be able to try two delicious drams for yourself! We even provide little takeaways for the drivers so no need to drink and drive.

Distillery Tours cost just £12.50 and everyone is welcome (we even welcome well behaved dog owners along with their four legged friends). Tours are available at 10:30am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

What is included

Distillery Tours cost £12.50 per person and include a tasting of Lindores Abbey Distillery Aqua Vitae as well as two other drams. £2.50 of the tour price is then redeemable against a purchase of a bottle of Aqua Vitae.

We do not want anyone to miss out, so we even provide little takeaways for the drivers so that they can enjoy their taste of Aqua Vitae when they get home.

We even welcome well behaved dog owners along with their four legged friends.

“This week, I visited this recently opened distillery and it amazed me. I went there not to learn the production process but actually for the history in general and the place in the history of whisky that Lindores Abbey belongs to. And it went beyond what I expected, not only because I was able to learn about the history of whisky but also because the visitor center is surely the most beautiful I have seen so far. As for the distillery, it is very new (they began distilling in December) and yet it is rooted in its history, which make sit not just an avant-garde approach, but instead rather a homecoming. Truly a distillery that is worth visiting at any cost !! If I could give 6 star rate, I think I would give it to Lindores Abbey Distillery!”
